A new mysterious Meizu phone has been leaked having a FullView 18:9 display. The fingerprint sensor has also shifted to the back of the phone.
One of the newest trends in the smartphone industry that came in 2017 is the new 18:9 display. More and more companies are coming forward with this screen ratio. OnePlus recently launched its OnePlus 5T with 18:9 display as a major upgrade.The Chinese brand Meizu is also planning to join this trend as It won’t be too long when we see its first handset having the new display ratio.
Recently today, some images of Unknown Meizu phone were leaked pointing at the new 18:9 display. Until now, all the phones of the Chinese manufacturer had a front finger-print scanner below the display. The new leaks are suggesting that the place of the fingerprint scanner is shifted to the back of the phone.
According to the company, it is planning to launch a fullView phone in 2018 and according to some sources, that phone is still in development stage. The phone in the leaked images could either be a successor to the Meizu M6 Note or the long-awaited Meizu MX7 upper mid-ranger, which will arrive in spring 2018, as confirmed by the company’s Senior VP Yang Zhe. We will have to wait for some official confirmation. Uptil then, take this news with a pinch of salt.
